West, Davis & Company, LLP, a certified public accounting firm with offices in Austin, Texas and Portland, Oregon, is a continuation of the long time firm of West and Company originally established in 1978.

As our potential client, you can be assured that our work meets the highest standards of our profession and peers. Our firm undergoes quality control reviews by independent firms of CPA’s to evaluate our compliance with professional standards and requirements. The reviewing firms examine every aspect of selected engagements in their evaluation. This thorough review qualifies us for membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Private Companies Practice Section.

All professional personnel are required to participate in at least 20 hours of continuing professional education every year aggregating to at least 120 hours in the three most recent educational years. Individuals responsible for planning, directing, reporting or working on government audits receive at least 24 hours every two years of continuing education in subjects directly relating to the government environment and government auditing. Examples of these courses include: Miller - Governmental Accounting and Auditing, Government Finance Officers of America Annual Conferences, Texas School District Accounting and Auditing, and Advanced Texas School District Accounting and Auditing.
